Colin is 4. Baby Colin. Four. Next thing I know, he will be in college. It has gone too fast.
I always tell the kids to eat the entire apple (peel, I mean. Not core) so they can grow big. Colin says he will only eat the white part of the apple so he can stay little. It breaks my heart everytime he says it. Annie tells me she has to grow up because that is her job as a kid. She tells me there is nothing I can do about it. I know she's right, but I still don't like it.
Colin had a wonderful birthday at Kiddie Park. It's a San Antonio institution that I have very fond memories of as a kid. A very special thank you to Nana for baking the cake and taking care of all the arrangements. Everyone had a great time.
Thanks for posting these. I was in such a dither getting cake, presents and paper goods packed, I forgot the camera.

Yes Darcy, it's hard to watch them grow up, but you wouldn't want it otherwise. Then, you have the joy of grandchildren, and GREAT
grandchildren. Makes being old worthwhile.
