Post-vacation bliss didn't last long. We got back at 10 pm Saturday and spent most of Sunday getting groceries, washing clothes, etc. in preparation for the first day of school. Jason was the most excited because for the first time in 10 years he didn't have to go to school. He celebrated by not shaving and wearing a t-shirt and shorts all day. Anna was excited to meet Mrs. Ogle, her first grade teacher. We missed Meet the Teacher night because we were on vacation. Colin is with me this year, which is exciting. I spent the last few years feeling like I never saw my kids enough, and I may seriously regret this decision in a few weeks. But for now, it seems nice to be able to scratch his back at naptime and watch him grow and learn. With respect to privacy for the kids in his class, I won't put too much information about them in here, but I am thinking of having a password protected blog for the class. I'll keep you posted. But I can say that they are the cutest group of kids ever.
So excited to wear new Twinkle Toes shoes!
The kids grow faster than the tree. Colin is turning into Jason's clone standing like that. I had nice long pants for him but it was 107 degrees yesterday so we had to go with shorts.
Oh, so precious. Colin is definitely a Jason clone - especially in the clown department. Anna looks so cute in that dress and *t*w*i*n*k*l*e*t*o*e*s*.

I love Anna's dress - my favorite color too.
Colin is a cutie pie whatever he wears or how he stands. Love 'em both!
